skin preparation

Please exfoliate the day before your spray tanning session.

Shaving should be done the night before.

Schedule your manicure, pedicure, waxing and hair appointments prior to your session.

Remove make-up and skin creams on any part of your body as they can act as a barrier. If you arrive with make-up or creams on, I can provide wipes. It is also advisable to remove contact lenses before the tan as they may become stained and contaminated.

Wear loose dark clothing and open toed shoes if possible.

Wear loose clothing for the rest of the day. This is to avoid rubbing which could result in an uneven tan and also avoid socks for the first few hours.

Do not touch the tan, this will result in staining your palms.

Moisturise regularly with an oil free lotion, this will help to prolong your spray tan.

Exfoliate rough areas only like knees, elbows, and heels. This will allow your tan to fade evenly.

Do not shower for at least 8 hours. It’s best if you can leave the tan on overnight without showering or washing it off. During this time the tan will absorb into your skin and start to develop.

Do not rub your skin with a towel after a shower. Make sure you pat your skin dry instead.

Do not exercise or sweat excessively as this could have an influence on the development of your tan.
